Permethrin, sold under the brand name Nix among others, is a medication and insecticide.[2][3] As a medication, it is used to treat scabies and lice.[4] It is applied to the skin as a cream or lotion.[2] As an insecticide, it can be sprayed on clothing or mosquito nets to kill the insects that touch them.[ Insects are more affected by permethrin than humans or dogs because they are unable to metabolise the toxins as quickly as humans and dogs. Cats, although not experiencing the full effect of permethrin, are more sensitive toward this toxin.[1] Description INDICATION – Premai Anti-Tick Soap Is for use on dogs and pups to get rid of ticks, fleas and mites. Fleas are annoying insects that thrive on pets. Premai anti-tick soap contains Permethrin which is a synthetic Pyrethroids . Permethrin repels various species of ticks before they attach to the pet’s body.
