Another Abandoned Asylum (PATIENTS' BELONGINGS LEFT INSIDE)

Urban Exploration/Urbexing - We explore yet another abandoned Hospital. DEVINSKY & I explore yet another ABANDONED psychiatric hospital. ❤❤ This center was one of four major hospitals this specific state. It opened it’s doors in 1889 to house the sick. In 1955 it housed 10,000 patients making the second largest psychiatric hospital in the United States. Male and female patients were admitted in 1889 for Occupation & Oxygen and Rest & Relaxation. Patients would arrive by a special hospital train with bars on the windows. Later, more modern buildings were arranged together next to each other. It officially closed in 1996. Today most of the buildings have been demolished. As the facility was being phased out, part of its grounds were used for different things such as a college which just recently closed down. -I really hope you guys enjoy this video.
