There many versions of lumpia in the Philippine and lumpiang prito simply means fried lumpia. It’s also a wonderful dish to serve for family gatherings and what not. To make it I just put ground pork in a bowl, added minced carrots and onions as well as about 1 tbsp green onions. Then seasoned it with salt, pepper and garlic powder and then fried it for about 5 mins on each side. How to wrap lumpia? Set your wrapper in a diamond on a plate. Just fold the wrapper about a 4th to its end and add a spoon of your ground pork mixture. Then fold the insides and roll it upwards, adding an egg wash to seal the lumpia properly. Fry at low to medium heat to prevent the wrapper from getting burnt. Serve with your favorite sauce such as banana ketchup. Enjoy
