Shots, barz, punchlines, delivery, flows, you can just hear the passion and authenticity in her voice and i also think she was enjoying it. Nicki has given us 12-13 years of content many could and will never touch. She dont need to prove anything, and as strategic as she is. Do you reallyy think shed put her best stuff in a re-release of a mixtape (which seems like it was a last min decision to even add those new songs to btw) when she has a whole album coming up that shes about to release? Lol. Nicki isnt just talented, shes smart. Its all about timing, and building, you gotta move smart when youre the queen, i loved the new songs, no one as of lately has gone hard like that (besides j cole) and even in these new songs nobody is seeing her. Yes i understand we have high expectations for nicki but lets be real, her going back to basics on these new songs is still next level compared to what these others is putting out on the radio, so regardless she on top. I fully believe she made these songs with the intention of just giving us some real rap with no commercial approach, no gimmick, just street talk.
