Dal Bukhara

INGREDIENTS
Black gram - 150 grams
Water - 1 litre
Salt - 2 teaspoons, divided
Tomato puree - 200 milliliters
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 100 grams
Honey - 1 tablespoon
Cream - 100 grams
Plum (bukhara) - 30 grams
PREPARATION
1. Soak 150 grams black gram in water for overnight.
2. Take a heavy skillet, add 150 grams soaked black gram, 1 litre water, 1 teaspoon salt and stir. Cover it with a lid and cook for 25 - 30 minutes.
3. Add 200 milliliters of tomato puree,1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and stir.
4. Take a bowl, add 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon salt and some water. Mix it well.
5. Add this mixture into dal and stir. Then add 100 grams butter and cover it with a lid. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes.
6. Add 1 tablespoon honey and stir. Then add 100 grams cream and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
7. Add 30 grams plum (bukhara) and stir.
8. Serve hot with naan.
