Refugees fleeing the conflict in Sudan have been finding sanctuary in its neighboring countries like Chad, as the fighting enters its fourth month. The United Nations has warned of a growing refugee crisis in Sudan as thousands of people continue to flee the conflict. Sudan plunged into chaos in mid-April, when months of simmering tensions between the military and its rival, the Rapid Support Forces, RSF, exploded into open fighting. The Chad town of Adre, near the border to Sudan, was once home to a population of 40,000 but now hosts more than 200,000 refugees. They say they are fleeing targeted ethnic attacks.
