@tadeogomez73033 years ago My personal favorite scenario.
    (20 raiders)
A group of raiders commanded by a man called Razor arrived by dusk. They weren't trying to hide, circling your hideout with their bikes, engines roaring, angry voices screaming.
"Your time for slaughter has come, piglets," Razor himself shouted through a megaphone. "And I will be your wolf!"
Some of his gang was missing...
Two thugs found a fine bottle of whiskey in their supplies. How can you say no to an opportunity like that?
They were too drunk to move out and were left to sober up. They missed the whole party. (-2 raiders)
    (18 raiders)
When they found a guard shot in the head they had no idea who had done it.
For you, it simply meant there was one fewer thug to worry about. (-1 raider)
    (17 raiders)
When the bandits moved out from their base, a small group split from them and went in the opposite direction.
Sarge wasn't brave enough to confront Razor, but he thought things through sufficiently. He and his four men never showed up to attack you. (-5 raiders)
    (when that hits)
    (12 raiders)
12 men, including Razor, moved in to attack.
    The attackers opened fire.
Bullets swooshed through the air. Some flew far too close to your head, decorating the walls of the house with numerous small bullet holes.
Some of the guns didn't spit out any deadly projectiles. With a dry click they refused to work properly. Did someone meddle with their ammo supply?
Three of the attackers found themselves unarmed and had to retreat before the attack had even truly started. (-3 raiders)
    (9 raiders)
Sitting in the window, armed with a sniper rifle, you fired at the attackers.
With a view enhanced by a scope, you managed to hit four of them, sending them to the dusty dirt. They didn't get up afterwards. (-4 raiders)
    (5 raiders)
Keeping some extra ammo near was a good idea, even if accidental.
With that extra ammo you managed to shoot one more thug as he was nearing the house. (-1 raider)
    (4 raiders)
Before dusk you placed some traps outside your house...
Out of 4 traps set, 3 caught Razor's men. Hurt and unable to proceed, they retreated, happy to be alive.
    (1 raiders[sic])
You closed and locked the front door.
You closed and locked the back door.
You put solid metal bars in the ground floor window.
One remaining attacker - Razor himself - was trying to force his way into your hideout.
Cate simply opened the door and put her gun up to his head.

@SudVids11 months ago Spiders... locusts... extremes in temperature. You thought you'd seen it all. Until a throng of 50 murderous feral cats fancied you a feast. />(50 cats)
As dusk, the hunting hour, hit, the sprinkler system you rigged to mist the area activated.
Despite their condition, the sprinklers worked perfectly, dissuading some of the less hungry cats. (-5 cats)
    (45 cats)
You added your bizarrely fortunate acquistion of catnip to the misting solution. Several cats simply wandered off in a stupor. (-3 cats)
    (42 cats)
The angry yowling and hissing of drenched felines drowned out all ambient sound as the cats piled upon each other.
You closed and locked the front door, preventing pusses from that portal. (-7 cats)
You closed and locked the back door. Nailing the pet door shut was a good call, preventing potential flanking furballs. (-2 cats)
    (33 cats)
You barricaded the front window with nailed iron bars. Just recalling all the clawed arms reaching in for you puts ice in your veins. (-6 cats)
The laser pointer you picked up from the gas station was pointless. It didn't even distract one cat. At least you didn't try doing it from the OUTSIDE.
The cats, frustrated in their efforts, begin climbing the house.
You're lucky you stumbled upon that internet article that told you that cats hated strong citrus smells. Had you any companions they would have mocked your actions of dousing the sides of the house with the several 2L bottles of Fresca you insisted on dragging back from that gas station.
As it turns out, both humans AND cats hate Fresca. (-5 cats)
    (22 cats)
You barricaded the bathroom window with iron bars and nails. No cats from that. (-6 cats)
You barricaded the bedroom window with iron bars and nails. This side of the house was easily climbed. As a result, this stopped a massive amount of cats from pouring in as a tempest of claws and fury. (-12 cats)
Good call double checking that the hatch was closed. Ceiling cats won't be watching any of your bedroom escapades. (-3 cats)
    (1 cat)
Uh oh. You had to go and prioritize getting that stupid bird out of the chimney for what purpose exactly?
Dread sets in as you hear a scrabbling sound come down the chimney. You turn on your heel and take in the extremely angry, soot covered, santa "satan" claws now standing uncomfortably inside your fortifications.
He had gotten past water, chemicals, cold steel and your supposed ingenuity.
You were an idiot. You selected "bare hands" as your equipped item. "It's just cats, I got this", you thought. You forgot what the wasteland can do to supposedly innocuous critters, let alone one of nature's most successful species of hunters. Even a blanket might have helped, but noooo.
Death by a thousand cuts would have been a more merciful way to go. It was like being slowly fed feet first into a wood chipper. What remains of you paints the walls in a grim reminder that...
    You did not survive.

@Sniblet4 years ago You got a horrible feeling all of a sudden. Trusting your instincts, you called to everyone to get back to the bunker and get ready to fight.
You were right. Just like the Hero had predicted, too, he was no longer strong enough to stop the Vampire Queen.
But without the time he’d bought, you wouldn’t be here to finish the job.
Alpha, Beta, Charlie and Delta squad, the groups you’d organized by ascending order of combat readiness, took the positions you’d planned.
Just like your own instincts, you trusted Delta Lead. He’d insisted on being the first line of defense with his team. You’d said you’d pray for him.
Charlie squad was right at their backs. If any of them survived, they’d learn a lot that night.
Beta manned the elevator into the bunker’s basement. The Vampire Queen would have to take it - you’d thought to block and consecrate the stairway. But would it have been better to cut the elevator...?
Alpha squad guarded you and the wounded angel personally. If all went well, the rest would buy it all the time it needed to recover, and Alpha would never have to fight at all.
When the Vampire Queen breached the veil, all the lights dimmed and then shorted out at once, casting everything outside into the moonlight’s mercy, and your bunker into utter blackness.
You knew this would happen, and you never planned to rely on sight. The bunker was laced with noise traps, which would let your soldiers fight harder. The angel would heal until 80% of its injuries remained in the time they bought.
Delta Lead had thanked you for the night vision goggles, but it turned out it was too dark for even them to work. They didn’t buy you any time, and their batteries didn’t survive the night.
Gunfire erupted at the bunker’s entrance, blind shots guided by muzzle flashes and rapid footsteps and glowing eyes.
Arming your men with silver bullets was a good call. Conventional weapons would have done almost nothing, but with the ability to injure the Vampire Queen, your men bought 60% of the time you needed.
On some level you knew that no one on the surface floor would survive... but they fought hard, and bought time. 30% of the angel’s wounds remained by the time the surface was quiet.
The elevator was slower for the Vampire Queen than bounding down the stairs would have been, and you’d liked the image of her having to wait on it. During its round trip up and then down, the angel healed to 25% injury.
The angel shed a tear as it heard the shrieking Vampire Queen drown out Beta’s cries.
But you’d had their position fortified, and the chaplain was posted alongside them. You had more than faith in that group.
Beta fought hard, but the Queen was already so close. She broke away from them and ripped down the door to the angel’s chamber when it still had 10% of its wounds to go.
Streaming with black blood, chilling hatred in her eyes, the Vampire Queen faced down Alpha squad in the faint light of the angel’s radiance.
Alpha put on their bravest faces and closed their ranks around the angel...
It was a massacre. Cornered and quickly finding yourself alone, you thought darkly that Alpha had held for no time at all.
You got ready to fight her yourself, knowing you had no hope with the makeshift stake that was all you could prepare during the retreat. You should have had a better weapon ready.
But the angel rose to its feet then, 0% of its injuries left to hold it back...
After the pitch darkness of the Vampire Queen’s coming, the light of the fully reborn angel was like the sun reignited.

@khanhvan2604 years ago 100 %: The night has come. Under the effects of the winds and the sudden reduction in temperature, buildings are starting to collapse.
75% : You found a shelter underground. It turned out to be quite fit for this circumstance, reducing the effect of the collapse by 25%.
67%: You reinforced the door of the shelter, stabilizing it from the constantly terrible damage of the collapse, reducing the effect of it by 8%
62%: The surroundings of the shelter were protected by soft blankets, limiting the vibration to the maximum extent, reducing the effect of the collapse by 5%
65%: The night was getting colder and colder. You did not bring a warm coat with yourself, increasing the effect of the low temperature by 3%
50%: You used a charcoal heater in the shelter to warm the night, reducing the effect of the low temperature by 25%. However, there was not enough kindlings to back up, so at some points it was quite cold, increasing the effect of the low temperature by 10%.
65%: You did not ventilate the shelter thoroughly, so the smoke somewhat covered the shelter, making it a little hard to breathe. You had to resort to some oxygen reservations, though they did not have any noticeable effects. The risk was raised by 15%
35%: You insulated the shelter, also bringing some earplugs with yourself. They successfully prevented the noise from the outside from damaging your ears. The risk was decreased by 30%
20%: As the buildings collapsed, fire was inevitable. You surrounded the shelter with some fireproofs. However some of the fire got into the shelter. You had a fire extinguisher, so you prevented it from spreading in your shelter. The risk was decreased by 15%
0%: You brought some food and water with you, as it might have been a long night. The food was not of much use, but the water was necessary due to the extreme dryness caused by fire. You survived the deadly dehydration.

You survived the collapse and all other hazards. You also had a comfortable night. You can carry 5 kg more now.

the night falls unusually quiet, the wind starts howl as tornadoes form near your hideout. you took shelter in a cave near a rv />100% wind strength
hiding underground was a good idea, blocking 25% of the initial wind gusts.
you secured a metel plate to the entrance and secured it with 3 rolls of duct tape and put sandbags on top of the plate. it was heavy enough to resist 40% of the wind and tornadoes.
you attached an anchor to the metal plate, reducing 10% of the wind.
you roped some of the rocks together, it stopped them from falling on your hideout.
you put a t.m.a (tornado mover antana) outside
    reducing the strength by 20%
during the wind storm, it almost pushed the antana down, luckily you put sandbags near it so it still worked.
you put a hatch (a crude one anyway) on the cave. it reduces the threat by 25%
    stats:
you survive without being launched and slammed onto the ground. it wasn't so bad, so you got some extra rest

@lekatte2 years ago It was over. Humanity had lost.
100%: The creatures began their assualt by climbing the walls. The Colonial Marines standing guard shot them. Poor bastards were torn to shreds. This reduced the time needed to escape by 25%.
75%: The extra squad of Marines put up a strong defense. This would fail too. This reduced the time needed to escape by 25%.
50%: The end was near. The wall that was erected using the welder held strong. It held the aliens for a few minutes, reducing the time needed to escape by 30%.
20%: The automated turrets forces the aliens into a retreat. This reduced the time needed to escape by 15%.
5%: The damned creatures from hell were closing in. The remnants of the Colonial Marines stationed at the base were killed off, one by one.
1%: The ship took flight. The creatures jumped at it, a few managed to stick onto the ship. Luckily, they were killed in the atmosphere.
You and a few survivors managed to escape the horde. Hopefully you can find refuge in the Orbital station built by humanity a few years ago as a docking station.

    @thotslayer69823 years ago (20 Orks)
As the sun rose the horrid greenskinned orks appeared from the horizon. There were 20 in total, all armed with shootas and choppas. Among their number were sixteen ork boyz and four nobz.
The biggest of the nobz came forward and yelled: OI, STUPID 'UMIE, PREPARE TA BE KRUMPED BY ME: WARBOSS GITKRUMPA! He raised his power klaw and bellowed his savage war cry All of the other orks followed with their own war cries and surged toward your base.
    (17 Orks)
Digging those pitfalls was a really good idea. Three ork boyz fell into the traps, impaling themselves on the spikes. The other orks were angered by this display of "gittishness".
    (13 Orks)
Those mines you put out earlier blew up three more ork boyz and one of the nobz. The green tide was getting more and more pissed off that they were dying without a fight. You can hear them roar profanities at you from your secured room. You could also hear their bullets banging on your base.
    (10 Orks)
The electrified fence shocked three ork boyz out of the fight. When this happened, the other orks shot at the generator that was electrifying the fence. The resulting explosion caused your base to shake. They were getting close.
    (8 Orks)
You fire your las pistol at the orks below you from a window. Two boyz go down before you have to take cover from them firing back at you.
    (5 Orks)
As they busted through your door, the grenade you wired to it was pulled. The resulting explosion killed one nob and two boyz. Gitkrumpa was pushed to the ground and was extremely pissed now that more than half his warband was decimated by such low tricks. This was it, now he was mad. He and remaining orks charged in.
    (4 Orks)
Gitkrumpa tripped that tripwire you rigged to the hallway. He was fast enough to avoid the spikes but the nob behind him wasn't so lucky.
As you hear them getting closer, you inject yourself with the combat stimm you found and prepared for battle.
    (1 Ork)
As the orks charged through the last hallway to your room you launch an ambush on them. You take out the remaining ork boyz before the warboss clears the distance.
It's just you and him now, face to face, now the final battle would begin. You unsheathe your chainsword and get ready.
Taking that stimm was a really good idea, your enhanced reflexes meant that you could dodge most of Gitkrumpa's brutish swings. You cut him all over his torso. Red cuts were all over him as he swung his power klaw. However, he managed to give you a gash in the arm with his power klaw. Even though most of the pain was blocked by the stimm, it still hurt pretty badly but it was nothing a med-kit couldn't cover.
    (0 Orks)
With one last thrust to the chest, you ended Warboss Gitkrumpa. His massive body making a large thud when hit the floor, making everything in the room shake.
It was a hard-fought battle but you managed to live to see daylight again. Just one more day closer to when help finally arrives.

@dim44402 years ago I once wrote my "scene" here, but it doesn't seem that it turned out to be too interesting. Take two.
As soon as the moon remained the only source of light in this corrupted world, you heard a wolf howl. With notes of a female voice. You were discovered by one of the special groups of these monsters. Special... to kill you. At least they should do it. As you remember, usually such a group consists of 15 units.
You're in too terrible a state to fight directly. You can't hide, but you can fight back from hiding.
Fortunately, not far away, in the depths of a small forest, your comrades have built a fortified house. Although technically it is for temporary deployment of spies and saboteurs, there is something there specifically for you. With love from the motherland.
But it is precisely that it is designed for a temporary stay. There is almost no effective defense against the cheating energy of these monsters. Even the most belligerent, aggressive ones are in no hurry to get involved in such a situation. The reason has already come close to you.
"Give up, kid! You're trapped! Just give up and enjoy..." - how to explain to these fools that this is guaranteed to kill you?!.. Only the most universal language.
Judging by the view from the camera you set, most of the group consists of high-level monsters. Even if you can hold the blow, you will have enough 20% of their total energy to forcibly transform. Normally, you could wrap up the process, albeit with difficulty, but with such wounds... You can't let them near you.
The first line of defense was booby traps. Four hits, wounded she-wolves lose consciousness, leaving behind 15% of the energy background.
You hid the turret behind the foliage, on the way to the house. When she fired a bullet burst, she was quickly destroyed, but she managed to neutralize two, reducing the level of demonic energy by 10%
Three ogres pass by an earthen mound. Pressing a button, and explosives with a certain composition deprives them... yes, consciousness. Properly selected composition destroys most types of magical energy, and them too. And this hurts everyone, making the task easier by 10%
The path in front of the house was free of obstacles, so you could see everything. Sniper rifle, plus your favorite "pacifist" bullets... Miraculously avoiding arrows and rare bullets, you managed to shoot down two strong enemies, reducing the background of demonic energy by 15%.
...Surprisingly, the horribly placed pits worked almost perfectly, catching almost everyone. They were definitely expecting a smarter trap arrangement, but not like this. They are of course physically able to escape... but they needed too much time. As an experienced shooter, you appreciated the extra time by sending five to be ashamed of your assignment in the kingdom of Morpheus. Or who is responsible for dreams here. The main thing is that the amount of energy has decreased by 30%
Only the demoness remained, fueling her power at the expense of the others. But there was no need to revel in emotions. Barely grabbing the door handle, a powerful discharge of electricity paralyzed her body, leaving 20% of the demonic energy outside the house.
Another squad is defeated, another small victory, another day to live as a man. A passive demonic background does not pose any particular danger to you, which is why you have dealt with sleeping beauties without difficulty. When they wake up, they will remember a little, being exhausted and not dangerous. For a while...
You have avoided infecting the house with demonic energy, thanks to which you were able to have a good night's rest. The best thing for your exhausted body is that you have restored 1.5% of maximum health.

@VGF802 years ago 20 Androids from an unknown lab escaped to the surface programmed to take the lives of any human they spot.
The Androids made their way towards your hideout having detected biological lifeforms in your area.
Some of the androids were missing
1 Andriod near the warehouse was dismantled and had its main circuit board removed, it never got up. (19)
The radio station was drawing out chaotic and static signals all across the wasteland, it was set to the optimal static frequency to cause 5 robots to be unable to find your location (14)
You were able to stop Sally from killing you, a glitch in her software allowed her to overcome her programming and made her develop a conscience, a feat in robotics that would go unnoticed due to the current predicament. She was no longer a threat and never showed up at your hideout (13)
13 androids closed in to attack
2 strong magnetic poles, powered by electricity managed to entrap 4 robots. Since the magnetic poles were at max power, all the robots trapped were corrupted by the overpowering magnetic fields completely frying their memory drives and forcing them to shutdown. (9)
At the moment of Sunset, you had a large mirror in your hands.
One of the androids fitted with a laser, fired one towards you.
Using the mirror you were able to deflect the laser which ended up landing on some of the other robots. Since you were on the roof, you were able to guide the laser onto 6 robots (including the one firing the laser) sending them into the ground. none of them got back up (3)
You built a moat over the hideout before sunset, some of those robots were not waterproof and 2 of them ended up breaking down while crossing the moat. (1)
You locked the front door, you locked the back door, you firmly attached metal bars onto the front window, and you firmly attached metal bars onto the back window.
Only 1 Andriod remained, attempting to break into one of the windows. Jack got out his rifle and fired at the robot damaging critical components. It eventually shut down (0)
You managed to stop all the robots before they even broke into the house. You were able to go to bed early and get a good night's sleep.
Bonus: you can carry an additional 5kg now.

@shelleymcrae5142 years ago The day you had long dreaded had finally arrived your small rag tag team of resistance fighters base had been found and unfortunately for you the enemy decided to make their move before you had the chance to evacuate
As night fell a group of 30 soldiers descended on the tiny mountain base that had once been a ski resort but it would have to do fortunately for you due to a combination of the rough rocky terrain and road blocks set up ahead of time the attacking force was entirely on foot
As they drew closer the roar of mortar fire shook the ground tearing man and terrain alike to pieces thankfully due to your training drills zero friendlys were caught in the explosions the same could not be said about the enemy 9 soldiers were killed
As they got closer the mortar teams exchanged their high explosive shells for tear gas and smoke forcing the enemy to face the dilemma of either staying put to wait for the gas to pass granting their enemy an opportunity to launch a counter attack or push blindly into what might be an ambush their commander opted for the later sending 4 of his men right into a mine field….
Their forces scattered and running for cover 6 more soldiers were easy pickings for the snipers you had set up in the attic of the resort building
The enemy commander still unwilling to give up in spite of the grave losses they had faced bellowed for his forces to push forward a path now cleared through the minefield they began their slow March up the slope you and your men had intentionally cleared the slope of any terrain that could serve as cover for what came next as they started to gain ground your machine gunner opened fire once he had to stop to reload 5 soldiers corpses were no longer recognisable as human
7 soldiers had made it up the slope and were closing fast you and your buddies were able to take out 3 more before they got into close range with your rifles
The enemy commander driven into a bloodthirsty rage by the loss of most of his men charged at you as he took you to the ground you managed to get your side arm between you and him and fired two rounds point blank into his chest
    Results:
As the remaining soldiers stood shocked at the sight of their dead commander realised that they had lost and asked only that they be allowed to leave knowing you’d be gone by tomorrow you obliged
    You had survived
    Alternative ending
You were caught out in the open at night fall there was no escape
    Results
In spite of your best attempts and all your efforts your stronghold had fallen it was a slaughter at least it was a quick death

@yesanameirequested16823 years ago You're deciding to rob a bank in GTA RP server, but you know, there are many police officers
You see 8 cars, 1 motorbike and a chopper, making it 20 officers
You have been equipped with 2 off-road vehicles, a Sanchez and a 4 man crew, 2 carrying pistols, 2 hacking the vault.
But there were some officers missing.
2 officers were put in hospital, because of a delicious and poisoned donuts.
You managed to talk to few officers into quitting, 3 officers left.
Thanks to a great bottle of whiskey, 1 got left behind.
There were 14 officers on-scene. The first responder yells into the megaphone:"Come out with your hands in the air and let the hostages go! You have 2 minutes to comply!"
One of your crew members got cocky and decides to blow off one of the hostages heads.
    The cops open fire.
All of a sudden, you hear 4 clicks, Who would've thought that cooking oil in ammunition would jam a firearm? They get back in their cars and drove off.
10 officers left. One of your crewmates takes down 5 officers.
Then there was the chopper, both officers armed with Assault rifles.
Your 2 gunmen shoot at the choppers tail, causing the rear rotor to fail and the chopper to fall down
You run to your off-road vehicle and get out from there, while others are doing the same.
The 2 officers have lost you and your crewmembers by the time you are in the forests of sandy shores
You did it! From poisoning police officers to causing rounds to jam, you made that bank heist look like a cakewalk. Now only to wash the money and share the cuts.

@shelleymcrae5143 years ago As night fell the once quite mountins erupted into life the shaking and poor air quality of the previous day was no coincidence
As the ash drew closer the old sprinkler system roared to life it wasn’t enough to remove all the ash but it still did some good 90%
The time you spent replacing the tiles on your roof with the ones you found in the U.S. Geological Surveys van was time well spent as it could now stand up against the emence weight of the ash 70%
The walls you had erected to stop the pyroclastic flows did there jobs well and while some of it got through it was now mostly harmless....mostly 50%
The air purifier you installed kept most of the toxic ash out before it’s battery ran out 30%
Both doors were closed keeping out some of the ash
The downstairs window was covered in plastic wrap and the edges were sealed with duct tape keeping out some of the ash 20%
The bedroom window was the same 10%
    was the bathroom window 0%
    Results
You did it between your sealing of the house and protective walls against the pyroclastic flows your house was practically untouched you didn’t even need your scuba tank though getting all that ash off the roof is gonna take a while
    Alternative ending
You were caught out at night fall there was no escape
    Results
As the ash filled your lungs you struggled to breath wheezing and coughing you tryed to flee but you didn’t get far as the pyroclastic flow finally caught up
Heat shock kills quicker than your brain can process what just happened it was quite merciful compared to choking to death perhaps something could have been done to prevent this

@triangle4795last year As entire nations collapse due to the unstable state of the earth core that was caused by a failed drilling operation, you and some of your remaining friends seek shelter and saftey in this forsaken world
You find yourself near an abandonned gas station, no cars or trucks seem to be parked there, you and one of your friends start checking for any medical kit or some tools and food, maybe you get lucky, in the middle of that, a huge explosion appears from the distance, its so big that it seems to be kilometers tall, you have no time to think, you quickly grab your items and flee away with the group, the explosion blast will easely demolish every single thing that steps on its way, near buildings start to collapse while you run as fast as you can to the nearest place to hide, you have no time, the group finds a rusted armoured car, luckely it was strong enough to handle the blast, you quickly jump into it and lock the back door, minutes pass and you feel the shockwave busting down your vehicle, the extreme heat makes you feel dizzy, your skin starts to burn and one of your friends collapses, he couldn't handle the heat, and after minutes, the terror ends; and you stumble across a giant dust cloud, you ask yourself "am i willing to keep on this ? Is this really the end for all of us?" One of your group comes near you and taps your shoulder, he has the look of a warrior, he doesn't say much, he nods his head and walks away, as the great smoke of the explosion remains, you gather your group and walk to the unknown.

@Blady02PL2 years ago The sun was settling down under the ocean as your team was gathering in the hangar.
"Everyone ready?" You asked but got nothing in response other than nods and hums of agreement.
    One... two... three...
    The fuel pump started.
Thanks to Clyde's electrics experience, you were able to actually power up the pump to work. It revved loudly and shook the very earth.
Everyone manned their outposts as you assigned them.
Jackques was on the roof, cloaked under a ghillie blanket with a bolt action scoped rifle and plenty of ammo.
Celeste was at the right wing of the hangar, sitting behind a toughly nailed barricade with a sub machine gun.
Clyde was guarding the plane the very pump was fueling, he had a ballistic vest and a Light Machine Gun at hand. Not a very mobile combination.
You stood directly infront of the hangar, guarding the main entrance with a Assault Rifle in hand. You managed to find and charge a shield pack. This will last a long bit.
The night felt calm. Period. You felt the earth rumble and then opening up.
Frogspawns. They felt the seismic activity from the pump. There was no way to prevent the commotion.
You had to hold them off.
Jackques filed a sit-report to you. There was about 30 of them. More to come, probably.
You took a stance and positioned your reticles on the nearest one. He didn't even see you before hitting the ground. (29 frogspawns left)
The reckless gunshot alerted the rest of them. They all began a jog towards the hangar, groaning and screeching.
You took out 4 more with your quick weapons training. These brainless shamblers are much easier to aim onto than glass bottles, and drop much harder too. (25 Frogspawns left)
They got close to you rather fast, however.
3 of them leaped towards you.
Your shield pack kicked in, making a loud zap noise as a holographic bubble formed around you.
The same 3 shamblers that were about to scratch you to pieces were brutally zapped to death by the forcefield. (22 Frogspawns left)
You took 4 additional frogspawns down before you ran out. (18 Frogspawns left)
As you were abruptly reloading your weapon, you heard beeping from a long distance away.
Something was charging up right towards you. You had to take cover. Now.
You dropped your gun and began a full sprint towards the hangar.
You felt the swishing of rockets behind you. Explosions after. 4 of them.
Out of deluded curiosity, you turned back only to get knocked into the hangar from the explosion.
As you were recovering from the impact, you saw celeste kneeling above you shaking you awake. Out of panic you checked your body if the explosion hurt you anyhow.
It did not, if not for your shieldpack, you would be left in pieces.
"Behind you!!" You shouted to Cel, who shot a pair of frogspawns dead as they climbed through the penetrated barricades. (16 Frogspawns left.)
You took out your trusty revolver and took cover behind the plane. Your bubble armor was out of charge and couldn't start up again, atleast it saved your life when it could.
You heard wooden rumbling. They were breaking in. Clyde racked his gun and got in a stance to guard the Pump.
The barricade finally let go. They leaked in. 8 of them.
Clyde filled the entire area infront with bullets. Going through barricades, Frogspawns and the hangar's thin sheet walls.
He got 8 frogspawns from that barrage. (8 Frogspawns left)
"Jackques here. I got some weird movement on the cliff side, they don't seem to see me though."
The Parasites. They were coming for you.
As mantis said, they were super soldiers attracted to your hideout.
You succesfully sabtoaged their armors before, this should make them much easier to take out.
"Fire at will, Jack." You whispered into the radio as you were eyeballing the rest of your teammates.
Clyde. Clyde is missing somewhere. Where is he?? You had no time to find out, you heard metallic scratching.
"Boss, Boss! One of them is near the hangar, he got past my scope, look out!"
As you raised your pained head to the crack in the barricade, you saw her.
Leech. She got into the hangar.
Celeste raised her gun and sprayed towards Leech.
Round after round, the fire uneffectively brisked leech as she kept deflecting every shot with pinch precision.
Celeste droped her empty gun and started backing up against a wall, you could do as much as distract her for a short while.
Suddenly, you heard a metalic clack.
Clyde, now with his gun freshly loaded, re-appeared behind the pump.
Leech was outclassed, she wasn't even aware of the new threat.
It was swift. Clyde shredded through her leaving a massacrated pile of bug meat.
    (1 parasite left.)
The pump made a loud beep. It finished sooner than you thought.
You shouted at every crew member to get in the plane.
In the meantime, Jackques undetectably saw a shimmer in the jungle among the bushes.
Hornet. He was nearing the hangar.
No bullets to waste. He shot right through his helmet.
Without resistance, Hornet fell dead to the floor. It was a good idea to sabotage their armors before the onslaught. Who knows what would happen. (0 Parasites left)
Jackques jogged off the hangar into the plane.
As you were turning the key for the 5th time with a dying hope of it actually starting, you were surprised to hear a engine roar as the rotor began spinning.
"Buckle up, we are leaving this coffin."
As you were leaving the hangar inside the plane, you saw 8 fresh corpses of frogspawns. (0 frogspawns left)
Hornet must have got them as collateral damage when you were running to cover.
That was all of them. You were home free.

It was the overtime round. This would be the match that would either make or break your rank. the other team wouldn't make it easy though.
Positioning Phoenix and Cypher into the same site was a good choice. They were able to kill a flanking Jett, who said that your team "had no skill" for having cypher (even though, she was using the Judge). (5v4)
The Sage at mid held off a Reyna and a Killjoy at mid. Fortunately, Sage was able to get the killjoy, due to saving up for an Operator on the last round (5v3)
Unfortunately, Reyna got the trade, and took out the Sage. (4v3)
Playing Omen was a good choice, as you were able to kill an enemy Omen, due to the tried and true "flash them and then teleport behind them" strategy. (4v2)
Raze unfortunately ult-ed the site with your pals, phoenix and cypher. There wasn't enough time to avoid the rocket. You didn't get salty though, and thanked them for at least taking out the Jett. (2v2)
Yoru went hunting, and took out the Raze with a quick vandal one tap. Impressive! (2v1)
However, Yoru lost that fight, due to a bomb buddy deployed at the last second. Exploding roomba... what a way to go... (1v1)
You were unfortunate to be on the wrong site, as Reyna planted on the other site. (1v1)
With some quick thinking though, you smoked a cheeky location and got the final kill. Because you were using the elderflame vandal that you spent your hard earned cash on, you got to see a pretty cool animation too of a dragon spewing fire. (1v0)
But you had no time to stall, as the spike was near to detonation. You rushed over to defuse.
With only a few tenths of a second to spare, you manage to defuse the spike just in time (1v0)
Your friends cheered you on for managing to pull off such an amazing round! You typed a quick gg wp into chat, to which the jett from the other team replied with the n word. You reported her afterwards, but it didn't matter. You were now Gold 2 and damn proud of it. It wouldn't be long before you even got to platinum or diamond at the rate you were going at.
You decided to get some rest after that game. It wasn't that late, but that game was super intense. You did get a good rest though (+5 permanent team carry bonus)
